Tiger’s eye has both metaphysical and gemological properties. Metaphysically, it’s known as a stone of courage, protection and grounding, believed to enhance confidence, mental clarity and strength. Gemologically, it is a silicate mineral. Gemologically, it is a silicate mineral with a silky luster, and an opaque, golden-brown color due to its chatoyancy, which creates a shifting band of light.
