Sub That US, the coordinator of the Merry Maker Market, was founded in 2018 as an educational content company for makers in the apparel and accessory decoration industry – specifically those who utilize dye sublimation printing.

Sub That US was formed to fill a need for maker businesses who wanted comprehensive content not only to learn to make products but also how to design for them, market their products and grow their businesses in ways that keep up with the modern times. Over the years we have worked with thousands of business owners and built a friendly community of over 80,000 people (and counting). With tutorials, courses, digital designs, business services, giveaways and more – we pride ourselves in continuing to show up for maker businesses in meaningful ways that prioritize their growth and evolution.

Our passion comes from having been small businesses owners ourselves and feeling lost without guidance in the pre-social media era. With two decades of experience across multiple businesses niches – we have turned our expertise into duplicatable processes for our audience. This year we started to expand outside of the sublimation industry with laser crafting – and we have much in store for the years to come.

The idea for the Merry Maker Market has been a few years in the making. We wanted to create an opportunity for makers of all types – not just the dye sublimation industry – to get their products in front of buyers that are beyond their immediate reach. We recognize how many makers are limited by their local audience, available funds to partake in bigger opportunities, and their ability to grow an online presence. Every maker deserves a chance to thrive. The growing frustrations of makers amidst economic turmoil and everchanging online algorithms inspired us to focus on a unique, curated opportunity which can connect small businesses and consumers for the holiday season – and beyond
