We started making candles as an opportunity for my special needs (autistic) son to learn a new skill. We enjoy making candles together and hope to provide joy and happiness to others through our candles.
Candle burning instructions: For all pillar (non-container) candles, it is recommended you only burn for 2-3 hours at a time. Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects, children and pets. Trim wick to 1/4 inch prior to lighting. Only burn candles on level, fire resistance surface.
In October 2021, our candle creations started in attempt to find a skill my autistic son could grow and master to keep his mind and hands active. My son enjoys the details and process of creating candles, and lights up when others find joy in his creations. It turned into a mother and son passion hobby. He graduated from high school June 2023, and is still working on his living and employment skills.
We use high quality 100% soy for our container candles, and most of our pillar candles. Any pillars that utilize a 70/30 soy/paraffin blend wax are identified in the item description. We use all-cotton wicks or clean burning wood wicks. All our candles are made in very small batches – 10 or less in container candles and 2 or less in our decorative pillar candles, so you are truly getting a unique candle.
In January 2004, we began making our solid lotion with minimal ingredients that family, friends and coworkers love. We use all organic ingredients, quality oils and essential oils or skin safe fragrance oil.
