Labradorite is a feldspar mi real known for its iridescent play-if color called labradorescens, which causes brilliant flashes of blue, green, yellow and gold when light hits it. First discovered in Canada, it is used in jewelry and is associated with properties like spiritual awakening, protection, and emotional balance. The colors are not from impurities, but from light interfering with the mineral’s internal layers.
